Less than a month to the opening of Proposte 2025, the world preview of furnishing fabrics and curtains.
The 32nd edition of Proposte will be held from Tuesday, May 6 to Thursday, May 8, 2025, at Villa Erba in Cernobbio.
78 exhibitors – 30 Italians and 48 international – will present a preview of their new collections of furnishing fabrics, curtains, trimmings, and wall coverings.
This year, the different and more rational layout of the exhibition area allows us to welcome 6 new exhibitors: 2 from Italy, 1 from Belgium, 1 from Germany, 1 from the UK, and 1 from Finland. Their product quality meets the requirements for participation in the trade show. Indeed, Proposte stands out both as a specialized trade show exclusively reserved for direct producers of furnishing fabrics, curtains, trimmings, and wall coverings, and as a selective trade show where exhibitors share three fundamental features: company and product qualification, professionalism, and commitment to design and technological research.
Proposte will last three days and feature 3 special areas developed within the exhibition area and integrating the commercial offerings proposed by the participating companies. As in the last editions, Cometa Formazione, Alliance for European Flax-Linen & Hemp, and Fashion Room have confirmed their presence.
For the third consecutive year, Comocrea Interni, the event dedicated to the design of furnishing fabrics, will be held in the Ala Regina, with the participation of 22 of the best international design studios. This collaboration will further enrich the visitor experience, offering a comprehensive overview of industry trends.
A few minutes from Villa Erba, at the Sheraton Lake Como Hotel, the 10th edition of the International Observatory will be held with the participation of 8 international producers of furnishing fabrics. Visitors with the Proposte e-badge can access the premises or accreditation is available at the reception desk. A shuttle service from the main entrance of Proposte will be available, ensuring a seamless connection between the two locations.
On Tuesday, May 6, from 6:20 p.m., the traditional gala evening will be inaugurated at the Villa Antica. An aperitif with a light dinner buffet, accompanied by live pop music, will provide an opportunity for networking in a relaxed atmosphere. Access to the gala evening will be reserved for badge holders.
Thanks to the renewed support of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Italian Trade Agency ICE, 28 international buyers from France, the United States, New Zealand, Romania, Poland, the United Kingdom, Slovenia, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Spain and Belgium as well as 10 international journalists will be present at the trade show.
