Tissage Mahieu: a Flemish tradition since 1889
For five generations, the Belgian family-owned company Tissage Mahieu has stood out for its production of wallcoverings, crafted from woven textiles of the highest quality. With an approach that remains artisanal and non-standardized, the company offers enveloping, durable collections made with natural fibres such as linen, cotton and wool, featuring warm colour palettes inspired by nature. Among its most recent collections, presented at Proposte, are Native, Solace and Willow.
Tecnofinish: cutting-edge technology
The company based in Cantù develops advanced technological solutions. Biomais is a decorative wallcovering substrate, fully recyclable and made from regenerated corn waste. As a sustainable alternative to PVC, it offers high mechanical strength and abrasion resistance, stability, excellent embossability, and compatibility with both digital and industrial printing. It is biodegradable according to EN 13432 and does not generate CO₂ emissions into the atmosphere. It complies with EN 13501-1 Bs1d0.
Italette: premium textile textures
Located on Lake Como, Itelette is one of Europe’s leading textile manufacturers. Among the new products presented at Proposte is a new collection of textile wall coverings inspired by Eastern, natural and decorative atmospheres. The interplay of different fibers and yarns creates elegant, deep and three-dimensional surfaces.
