Trevira CS by Indorama Ventures: Pioneering Flame-Retardant Textiles
The special guest at Proposte 2026 was Trevira CS®, a brand of Indorama Ventures and the preferred choice for flame-retardant textiles worldwide. Since 1980, Trevira CS brings together comfort and safety in one innovative solution, developing and producing permanently flame-retardant polyester fibers and yarns—without relying on chemical finishes. Fabrics made from modified polyester can be granted the Trevira CS label only after passing brand testing, ensuring consistent quality and performance. Unlike conventional materials that depend on surface treatments, Trevira CS fabrics are inherently flame retardant, and these properties are firmly anchored in the fiber and cannot be washed off.
