PROPOSTE 2017
Proposte 2017 was a great success. The XXV edition came to a close with the unabated enthusiasm of the 89 exhibitors. Compared to last year the overall number of visitors remained unchanged (+0.55%), there was a noticeable reduction in Italians but a significant increase in visitors from China, the United States, Russia, Australia, Spain and Germany. The high level of quality of the buyers was stressed by the exhibitors. This year demonstrated once again that the Fair remains an excellent showcase for new collections, an enthusiasm which was also confirmed by the companies that exhibited for the first time. Proposte confirms its status as a highly international fair, with representatives of foreign companies making up nearly 70 percent of the total number of visitors.
Gala evening 2017
The gala evening was a huge hit with the audience. The extraordinary Mario Biondi delighted the 600 people present who had the honour of enjoying the show in the beautiful setting of Villa Antica. After regaling the audience with a dozen of his greatest hits like “Shine on” and “Love is a temple”, the artist, before bidding his farewell, declared that in a charming location such as the one that hosted him he would be willing to sing all night!

EXHIBITOR
Only manufacturers of furnishing fabrics, curtains and trimmings are admitted to exhibit at Proposte. They must share at least three characteristics: the qualification of their companies and products, professional correctness, commitment to research and development in creativity and technologies.
Since 1993 the fair, year after year, has become the most important and exclusive showcase for new collections of furnishing fabrics, curtains and trimmings. Just consider that since its inception it has been visited by 158,975 people from 107 countries.
This year there will be 90 exhibitors, 43 Italian companies and 47 from abroad, an undeniable sign that Proposte is increasingly a leader in the sector and that the biggest producers of furnishing fabrics aspire to participate.
There is a lot of attention on the American market with the inclusion of the companies MTL INC. and J.B. MARTIN CO, as well as the Spanish HIJOS DE ANTONIO FERRE SA, the German NEUTEX HOME DECO GMBH and the Turkish GÜLESER TEKSTIL. These are the five new firms that, together with the veterans, on 3-4-5 May 2017 will present their new collections in the historic location that for twenty-five years has served as the backdrop for the Fair: Villa Erba in Cernobbio.
PROPOSTE 2016 - CONSIDERATION
Following the recently concluded XXIV edition of Proposte, we would like to make a quick assessment of the three days of work. Despite there being a statistical drop of 7 percent in the number of visitors and 4 percent in the number of companies participating, data that confirms the international economic downturn, the satisfaction and optimism of the exhibitors demonstrated that the Fair remains an excellent showcase for new collections, and that enthusiasm was also affirmed by the new participants. Proposte confirms its status as a highly international fair, with representatives of foreign companies making up nearly 70 percent of the total number of visitors.

the entry badges will be provided exclusively in an electronic format.
The information required to receive your credentials for the fair and get your badge via email is the following:
company name, complete address, sector you work in, first and last name of the people who will be visiting the fair, their personal e-mail addresses, the names of the companies exhibiting that you are clients of.
Entry is reserved for people who work in the sector and fall under one of the following categories:
textile editors, manufacturers of upholstered furniture, wholesalers, converters, buying groups, contract operators. The E-BADGE allows access to PROPOSTE, it is personal, non-transferable, it cannot be duplicated.
