Since 1993 Proposte has set itself apart as the international furnishing and curtains fair that is specialized and selective: only producers of furnishing fabrics, curtains and trimmings who meet three fundamental characteristics are allowed to exhibit their products: the companies and their products meet the qualifications specified; they demonstrate professional integrity; they do research and carry out creative, technological and sustainable experimentation.

Proposte is an exhibition with free admission reserved to operators belonging to the following business sectors: Textile Editor, Manufacturer of Upholstered Furniture, Wholesaler, Buying Group, Converter, Contract Operator. Journalists and architects may enter the fair if duly accredited.

The site of the exhibition is Villa Erba in Cernobbio (Como).

The 28th edition of Proposte will include 60 exhibitors, of whom 27 are Italian and 33 foreign.
