The history of the Colombo family is closely related to the textile world since the early 1900s. Starting as silkworm rearers, then silk yarn spinners and finally as textile manufacturers, Marco Colombo in 1955 founded Tessitura Colombo, specializing in the production of wall covering fabrics and curtains. In 1976 Carlo, son of the founder, joined the company and renamed the mill Wintex. In 2006 Andrea, the third generation of the family, joined the team. Wintex is a well-known textile weaving mill with a high-qualified staff able to apply the most innovative technologies which allow us to produce exclusive quality products, requested by the most important editors and distributors operating worldwide. Wintex production is entirely made in Italy. For us every single customer is special and for this reason we make our expertise available together with our technical and creative staff, in order to satisfy different needs in textile products.
