The history of Giber starts in 1935 in two rooms in Piazza Castello downtown Milan, where offices and mill were located. Today it operates over 12,000 sqm of which 6,500 are covered. It is one of the very few Italian companies which produce curtains with a vertical structure: from yarns to dyeing and printing. Good research, high quality and noble fibres such as linen, silk and hemp are the strength of this company manufacturing plain, jacquard, fil coupé, embroidered and burn-out fabrics. In 2007 the company began to produce furnishing fabrics for interior decoration with high width as well. In 2009 Giber became Giber srl and it now sells its collections in the whole world.
